1. Summary.
We completed different types of questionnaires about
the degree and about our point of view about the evaluation. Then, we spoke
about the difficult situation of quarantine that caused that a lot of students
could pass the course without basic knowledge.
2. What I’ve learnt.
I’ve learnt that the evaluation has to have different
forms because if you are in a special situation like quarantine, you can’t use
the traditional assessment because it’s not effective. You can use the method
which you want, but it’s important to be prepared to change the way of your
teaching if it’s necessary.
3. Opinion.
I think that the quarantine could be a turning point
to change the organization of teaching. It was a special situation when we had
to improvise the way of education, but now we have this experience, so we would
have to have different plans to teach without taking into account the
situation. In the same line, we have the evaluation. The majority of learners, who
should have failed the course, passed because of the traditional form of
education, so now it’s a problem to follow the rate of the class. We have to
change the assessment to adapt it to the new situation; we could include forms
of evaluation like continuous assessment, evaluation through tasks,
participation…
